Mental Health Services Act Meeting

An open meeting of the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Steering Committee Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 4th for 1-2:30 P. M. in the large conference room at the Health Services Office (441 N. Main Street, Alturas, CA).  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss various funding components of the Mental Health Services Act.

As you are probaby aware, the funding outlook is grim for the foreseeable future.  We are trying to be proactive in utilizing our resources as productively as possible.  

Agenda

1.       Update on changes in MHSA Funding and Fund Projections

2.       Development of the Community Services and Supports Plan Update for Fiscal Year 2010-11 (Submission date after a 30 day public review period is April 15, 2010 for funding by July, 2010).

3.       Development of the Prevention and Early Intervention Plan Update for Fiscal Year 2010-11 (Submission date after a 30 day public review period is April 15, 2010 for funding by July, 2010).

4.       Update on planning for Innovations Project Funding

5.       Update on planning for Capital Facilities and Informational Technology Project Funding
