Carseats, Use them and Check them, do it because you love them!
One of the most important jobs you have as a parent is keeping your child safe when riding in a 
vehicle. Each year thousands of young children are killed or injured in car crashes. Proper use of a
car safety seats helps keep children safe. But with so many different car safety seats on the market,
it's no wonder many parents find this overwhelming. Trained and certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians
will be on hand to provide personal child car seat installation instructions. They will give parents and caregivers
advice to help them insure that all their children continue to get the best protection possible from
their safety seats.

The Modoc County Injury Prevention Coalition teamed up with the United States Forest Service.

STRUCTURE: The coalition is made up of multifaceted and multidisciplinary representatives from the community. Meetings are held the third Tuesday, every other month from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Locations of the meeting normally take place at the TEACH Conference Room at 112 E. 2nd St., in Alturas, unless other wise noted.
