Modoc County Environmental Health Department has a written complaint based policy
for code enforcement. Anonymous complaints will not be acted upon unless the Health Officer or Director determines an iminent
threat to the public health on the environment.
Complaints recieved to Environmental Health that involve other
departments within the county shall be forwarded.
All complaints are kept confindential unless legal action
is required.
