Law Summary:
Effective January 1, 2008, H&S Code 118947 bans the smoking of any cigarette, pipe, or cigar in a moving or parked vehicle while a youth younger than the age of 18 is present.

Modoc County Tobacco
Education Program is to

provide guidance, and education

in collaboration with all local Health Officials,

Law Enforcement personal, representatives of

all priority populations

to provide a wide range of activities that

helps educate all ages,

regardless of gender, social standing, religion,

ethnicity and sexual orientation,

about the dangers of tobacco and promote

healthy lifestyles.

Vice-President is De Funk is the TUPE Director from the

Modoc CountyOffice of Education.

Our Coalition meets every month

on the 3rd Thursday.
